Dr. Lauren Noel
Dr. Lauren Noel was awarded her Bachelor Degree in psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, California. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in an acupuncture clinic and discovered the beauty of natural medicine. She also developed a passion for nutrition and began pursuing a career that viewed “food as medicine.” To convert this passion to a career, Dr. Noel completed a four year graduate medical degree at the famed National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. During her clinical years at NCNM, Dr. Noel interned at Outside In, a clinic that focuses on the health of at risk youth and homeless teens. As a medical student, Dr. Noel was hand picked as a member of the Presidential Ambassadors Leadership Society (PALS), and was a nominatee of the Leadership Award and the prestigious Benedict Lust award. She completed a one year internship in naturopathic/integrative cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine under the mentorship of Martin Milner, ND.
Dr. Noel uses a unique, individualized approach with her patients. Dr. Noel views each patient as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms and diagnoses.
“The human body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right circumstances. It is my job to help identify hidden roadblocks to this natural process and assist my patients to achieve optimal wellness. I love what I do because it works. By addressing the cause of disease rather than the symptoms, long lasting relief is often achieved.”
Dr. Noel uses a blend of eastern and western medicine, nutritional therapy, detoxification, homeopathy, and conventional treatments when necessary. She has advanced training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, cardiology, heavy metal detoxification, and intravenous nutritional therapy. She welcomes men and women of all ages into her practice. Dr. Noel has a passion for teaching and takes her time to ensure that each patients fully understands her approach and the treatment plans.
Dr. Noel has a passion for healthcare reform and has been active in legislation at the state and national level.
